This week, January 18-24, it’s a Tobacco-free week in Quebec.
Not by law but by “please stop smoking”.
Government of Quebec spend a lot of money to advertise on that week.
I am a non-smoker and I am tired of that government behavior.
To act like if it was in the same person our parents and act if all quebecers havent 12 years old.
You know what, I believe to conspiracy betweed media agency, media owner and Quebec government.
Yeah with all the millions that Quebec government spent on advertising, media agency and media owner benefit of that Tobacco-free week.
Ha yeah Quebec government name that week for a better health of the quebecers.
I can tell you something.
A week without medias will be better collectively for our health than smokers.
Imagine a week without the week-end flyers bag, Radio-Canada, CBC, CTV, Journal de Montréal, La Presse, The Gazette, all regional newspaper, CKOI, CKMF, CKAC, TQS and all other radio-tv-print medias.
Wow. Peace on earth for a week and millions tons of paper saved and how many mind saved?
I do believe that smoking is not good for health.
But I do believe also that all the money spent by Quebec governement worth nothing against the continous market growth of the cigarettes sold on natives territory.
Increasing taxes on tobacco and punish bandits who sell tobacco-pack buy on natives territory and we’ll see a lot of new non-smokers.
Ha yeah, it cost more to hire more policeman and arrest people who sell and/or buy natives cigarettes. It’s hard for policeman of the Sûreté du Québec or RCMP to go on the natives territory.
Leaders with “Couilles molles” like they said in French.
Okay mister Prime Minister, now I understand why there is a Tobacco-free week.
My advice here. Take all the millions spent by Government of Quebec on the “Quebec Tobacco-free week” hire some good asian black jack or poker players and make profits on the Natives online casinos. With all that money won, I am sure that the CHUM will be built completly by the end of 2010. Ok maybe not all but, certainly all the surgery room.
